Hunter Jeffrey Smith 4/27/2010

Hunter has arrived! He weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz. and was 21 inches long.....just perfect!

This is Sarah writing for Kenzie and Ricky, they are a little busy as you can imagine. My first job as an Auntie is to show this sweet little boy to all of you. Here are a few pictures I got at the hospital today. Hunter was born via c-section today at 9:27 am, Mom and Hunter are both doing great. He has a bit of red hair and so far is a pretty laid back baby, I don't think he has even cried yet. We are all so excited to have Hunter finally here and I know Kenzie will be updating the blog as soon as she gets a chance. Happy Birthday sweet little nephew, we love you!

Baby Hunter 38 1/2 weeks ultrasound!!!! Well... big news. Hunter will seeing the world for the first time Tuesday April 27th!!!! We had an ultrasound today to check on baby Hunter's size and just as suspected he has grown. He now weighs between 9 and 10 lbs. So... along with the our doctor's advice we decided to go for the c-section. I go in tues at 7am and surgery is at 9am. Ifs official!!!! We are so excited and ofcourse a little nervous. But it will all be worth it because we will finally be holding our little Hunter boy. Can't wait! I will keep everyone updated!!!!

Baby Hunter Ultrasound 36 weeks

Well... we had an ultrasound today because Doctor was concerned lil Hunter wasn't so lil. And he was right. They think Hunter weighs around 8 lbs 4oz and he still has about 3 weeks ago. So doctor will monitor him every week and if by 38 weeks he is still in there cookin they might induce labor. Otherwise, he looked great. Very active, heart just beating along, amniotic fluid level was good and all the other important things were in place. He is head down and doctor says he will stay there because with his size he is limited on moving space. We got a 100% confirmation that he is a little boy. Thankful for that. We would have had a lot of work to do, converting a hunting lodge. I am feeling good. I'm gonna continue to work until he comes or doctor tells me not to. Fun to see our little boy today. Can't wait to hold him and snuggle him. Thats gonna be a great day.
